I consider myself one of the lucky ones who had the privilege growing up here in the Bay of Islands. At the age of only 14 years old, during school holidays and weekends, I started working for Tony and Merva down here on the beach at "Bay Beach Hire", 16 years later, I am still here and loving every day!
Over the years I have had the good fortune to meet some amazing people. In our NZ winter I’ve been sailing the South Pacific, worked in the USA on the East Coast helping run a Jet Ski business, and worked three seasons in Australia sailing the Whitsunday Islands in North Queensland
My goal is to give each and every customer a personal and memorable time, whether it is out on the water kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, sailing or mountain biking.
With a lifetime of adventure and understanding for the ocean and the winds I can point you in the right direction, what we don't know about the Bay is not worth knowing! Come down and have a chat, and I can tailor make an adventure to suit.
