  Frequently asked kayaking questions

Question: Is the kayak likely to capsize or will I end up in the water?
Answer: Capsizing is very rare. All our kayaks are very stable and have been designed to cope with ocean conditions. In the unlikely event that you do capsize, you will always be wearing a life jacket and our guides will quickly get you back in the kayak in no time.

Question: Can I bring a camera?
Answer: Yes! We will provide you with a dry bag for your camera.

Question: I've never kayaked before, is it difficult?
Answer: No! Kayaking is a sport that anyone, old or young, can take part in. No prior experience is required, in fact the vast majority of our clients have never kayaked before. Our guides will teach you the basics and make sure you're feeling confident before setting off.

Question: Will I get wet?
Answer: Dress appropriately with shorts, and as we use spray skirts it's kept to an absolute minimum.

Question: Should I take a drink or food?
Answer: Water and energy bars are always a good idea to bring. We do provide refreshments on all of our tours.

Question: Should I wear sun screen?
Answer: Yes, yes and yes! You should wear at least factor 20. Hat and sunglasses are also recommend.
